    Hi,
I have been at this SEO racket for quite some time, however I have a bit of a unique situation that I'd like to get some opinions on.

Basically, one of my sites is a cell phone info site, with reviews and such. It is doing well. Recently I was able to purchase a domain name with an excellent 2 phrase search term as a domain name.

This name is also an excellent name on its own as well (ie for branding purposes etc.) It involves "smart phone"

Here is my dilemma. I am not exactly sure which way I would like to implement my new name

OPTION 1: Park it on my existing domain / site to send and use traffic to enhance my current sites traffic.

OPTION 2: Point the new domain name at the "smart phone" directory on the old site.

OPTION 3: Spin off a new site (which would contain 85 or so content pages from the "smart phone" category of the other site). On the plus side, I think that this would give a separate entity that I could sell adverts on. On the minus, a slight chance of duplicate content penalty.

So basically I am looking for opinions here, or maybe experiences. I'd like to get a little discussion going here to help me make my decision.

I would go for option 3 myself but probably spin the content a little to avoid duplicate content. That way you have two shots at ranking.

That's kind of my Gut on it as well. More work, but higher possible rewards. And another site to sell eventually!!

Any more opinions, or thoughts on this?
