Is there really any money to be made in this "buisness"? What is the process? How does this work? Where do I start? I've got a bunch of Myspace accounts with thousands of friends, and I am looking to utilize them as best as I can. I'm a poor college student, so any extra income is great.
as far as myspace goes your options are limited and in reality not really worth the effort. the only way i've made money (as a similarly poor college sophomore) in affiliate marketing is by investing in pay-per-click campaigns on yahoo that drive traffic to my affiliate offer landing pages. the work up-front is pretty intense, and the testing process can be cumbersome, but in the end it's worth it if u ask me.
There's alot of money to be made in affiliate marketing, but it's not easy and takes alot of time. I have been doing it for well over 6 years now and I have actually found myself sitting in front of the computer for over 24 hours sometimes just trying to get things done quicker. Some people obviously would find it easier to do than others.
John is right. Affiliate marketing can be a lot of hard work but the rewards can be as high as you would like them. The first step is to join an affiliate network and start trying some of the offers. Work out what works best and take it from there. Good luck!
If you want to get into affiliate marketing, pick up and read this free eBook first...Affiliate Masters Course. Even though it is free, it is still considered one of the "Bibles" on affiliate marketing. http://aff-masters.sitesell.com Jim
Dumb question - Do you need a site? Can you start with nothing? I don't have a site or anything but I want to get into it.
