New International Affiliate at MaxBounty Wants Your Help

Just signed up with Max Bounty, thanks to some of DP's encouraging threads. My problem is everytime I choose a certain campaign and get the link it always point to MB or I am always directed to ScoutSurvey instead of the landing page of the website I am promoting.

Please enlighten me. I want to start promoting some of the links there but I do not know how or what are the bases of our earnings, what do Rate, EPC and Status mean?

By the way, I am from the Philippines.

Thank you very much for your assistance. :)

You are being redirected because the offer is not available in your country. Its what someone you refer would see if they also came from the Philippines.

So does that mean I can not earn from MaxBounty because the offers are only available in the US? What if I can drive US traffic to MB? How can I get them to the landing page with my id? Is it possible or would you advise me to quit MB as early as now? Thanks for taking time to answer my question, cianuro. :)

You can earn from Maxbounty as long as you are driving US traffic or the appropriate traffic for the offers. What is happening is that when you try to view the landing page, your country ip is not US and so you get redirected to the survey site. It is possible to view the landing page. pm I'll tell you how.

Hi, since the campaigns are available only for US, maxbounty will redirect the non-us visitors to a non-us campaign (so that you can still earn money ;) ) If you send US trafic/if your visitors are from US (or the country accepted by that specific campaign) they will see the landing page for that campaign without any problem... This is how it works on the most CPA networks....

To view the landing page yourself you can use a proxy. You can try with some proxies from proxy.org for example and browse the url of the landing page, since the proxy will be located in US you will be able to see the campaign landing page... Good luck!

As suggest by drugoon, try different proxies to check where the landing page goes, btw in affiliate marketing you can only earn through Us or european traffic

Hey, thanks BigPhil, Drugoon, and ahref. Thanks for pacifying me. :)

So I could still view the landing pages using proxies and as long as I drive US traffic to MB I will earn, is that right?

Yeah, it's quite sad when you're not from these two continents and you're earning potential is limited not only with affiliate programs but also in PTRs and other money-making schemes. But I am still thankful I could share with the bulk of profits for being online. Whoever are responsible for bringing internet to us, may God bless them. :)

Try to check if your application for the program is approved. They usually automatically approve/disapprove affiliates depending on their location. Since you are from the phils, your ip is detected and you are redirected to the site that you have referred to.
If you are applying to a merchant directly and you were automatically disapproved, try to contact the merchant and provide details about your site and traffic; explain to them that you cater to their demographics.

Some of the campaigns are managed by Maxbounty, when your account is approved you are automatically approved for these campaigns. To use the other campaigns you will have to apply for each of them (some will activate you instantly other require manual approval - it depends how the advertiser set up the campaign). You can see the status (Approved, Join Now, Pending Review, Rejected) when you browse your campaigns... :)

We do provide foreign affiliates a means of viewing the offer landing page. When you're on the MaxBounty campaign details page, there's a link near the top saying VIEW LANDING URL. Please note that this is NOT your tracking URL, it's simply a preview so affiliates can see the campaign landing page outside of any IP filtering done by MaxBounty.

Most of the time, foreign affiliates will be able to see the landing URL of the campaign using this preview link. Sometimes the merchant will implement their own IP filtering that we have no means of getting around for preview purposes.

As already stated, all foreign clicks on campaigns which are limited to USA-only traffic are redirected to a campaign which accepts bulk foreign traffic.

    JP Suave:
Thanks for your explanation. Do you work with MB?

I have just visited the site and got this landing page url of one of my campaigns there. I would just like to know if this is it already. Sorry, I'm totally ignorant about this. :)

*to the visitors of this thread, please don't click on the link below. this is just for clarification purposes.

I'm one of the founders of MaxBounty.com.

For that URL... it's not a MaxBounty tracking link, so it is not your ad code. If that's the preview URL, it then depends on whether that's the campaign you're trying to preview! Remember, the preview is just to look at the landing URL, not to send traffic to. :)

AffiliateGirl, we welcome newbie affiliates. I suggest you contact your affiliate manager and she can step you through getting your link code, viewing the preview, etc, to make sure you're clear on everything. You can find your AM contact info (phone, instant message or email) on the main affiliate page after you log in.

Sorry for this rather late reply, JP Suave. My affiliate manager just contacted me and I told her my situation. She said there should be no problem with my referral links and encouraged me to start promoting my links.

So you're one of the big guys. :) Thanks for clarifying on that link.

One more question, are we not allowed to post the links on our signatures in forums? And why can't I see anything on my signature yet?

Hi, JessicaDagg. Thanks for visiting my thread and helping out JP Suave here with MB stuff. :)

    BIGC!
    what part did you miss?

Hmmm. I just Googled the keyword, "how to earn at maxbounty" and found my thread here on number 2 spot. next to MB. Wow. Isn't that great? DP ahead of Earners forum by 4 slots! :)
