One more awesome feature introduced by Bing --> "Qwiki-pedia". So what's Qwiki-pedia? what do you think about the feature?
yes, i stumbled upon the news on SEW yesterday i think. pretty cool feature in my view. looks like bing is working on doing something creative which is a good sign. need couple of strong google competitors
Very good and creative feature introduced by bing. Actually Google set itself in a position, where to compete with them, bing, yahoo and such other search engine have to introduce many new features. Good move by bing.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who is both surprised and joyed that Bing decided to get its act together and innovate. I wonder: With facebook now running live.com as a script on its site (so if you're logged into hotmail while logged into a facebook account made with that hotmail, things are linked a bit)...AND with microsoft's new social network allowing either signing up with hotmail or your facebook account...AND with facebook's search results powered by Bing...AND with facebook losing value day by day...I wonder if facebook and microsoft are going to merge... Bing + Facebook = What Google wishes it could become.
naah... i do not think that would ever happen. Facebook is actually preparing itself for something big ( God Knows what, but yeah sure they are, and recent acquisition of face.com has strengthen ma argument.. lol) - Facebook Buys Israel Start-up Face.com
Just another scheme for them to try and get past Google in terms of search engine usage and functionality. They're clearly not happy that they entered the fray late and now have to make up for lost time...
Looks like a neat feature but sort of a gimmick. I don't think there has ever been a situation in which I'd want a Wikipedia page read to me.
Pretty cool feature. But please keep it simple, I don't like when it gets too crowded with all those features.
Have you notice in bing that the feature "Qwiki" has gone black? I have been tracking it since three days and yeah no sign of that feature in search engine. Kinda weird, right?
Now just waiting for Bing to make their own Adsense version. We need more competitors guys Support BING. Just for the sake of reducing the monopoly. Gods knows how low is my CPC from the current trend in a few more months. sigh2
^this! Definitely reeks of gimmick to me. Why on earth would someone need the Wikipedia page read to them? I can't imagine a situation where I would prefer a robotic female reading it to me at the speed of molasses over skimming it and picking out the important information myself.
this news prove that bing is trying to occupy the position of google search engine.for that reason bing is constantly launching new features.but it will be difficult for bing because google has already enabled to establish on top of the postion.
