What do you think of my new image..

On my website (link in signature) I have had a new header designed, and a new logo (in avatar)

The logo is going to be used on business cards, letterhead etc.

    What do you think?

    Darren :)

The new logo for your avatar is really classy. It's got the look of a postcard look, watercolor, cool + warm at the same time, very mediterranean, very appealling - like it a lot.

Yeah, It looks really good man...

Emphasises what I imagine you would like the site to say to visitors...

(You need to check the navigation in Firefox BTW)...

I know SE, unfortunately, I suck at CSS and someone else did it for me, my HTML skills are pretty okish, but have tried to sort the CSS out, but no luck :( I want to use firefox too, but can't until atleast my site is compliant with it lol

    Any ideas?

Thanks for the feedback everyone.. I'm really please with the new look!

SE that would be great if you could!

I can see part of the problem, that I have font tags, even though I'm using CSS, this could be causing some of the problem.

Any help would be appreciated (and worth a PR5 link if you can sort it hehe)

The font tags shouldn't be doing it...

Not if it looks good in ie...

It might take an hour or so for me to sort it so I'll have to do it after work, but I'd be happy to help.

The index page is probabally going to be the most tricky - also the header bar is being pushed out on some of the pages...

Like I say, I'll take a look at it tonight for you.

Buggar! I'll have to spend some quality time on tidying up the sh*te code both FP and DW generate!

mopacfan, not on this forum, but a business / marketing one I frequent. If your in the need of graphical work then let me know and I'll pass on his details, I recommend him!

    Lever .. it's a longggg story! LOL

I'm not a webdesigner by trade, so I changed the design of the site six million times, until I have the version I have now! I initially used FP when I first started out, as it was the only one I could use and pick up quickly, but now that I have started to work with PHP I am slowly but surely moving on to DW.. but alot of the pages are still FP designed.

    I'm using DW MX..

Ah, OK homes, penny drops ;) It took me 4 years before I got introduced to the conecpt of clean coding - now I aim for that everytime if the client allows. Trouble is, every time I go back to a site to do updates I end up clearing up my own sh*te code too :) Fireworks used to be a bugger for that, so now I only ever use it to knock up the images and put my own code in...

Darren I love the new design. It's very professional and easy on the eyes.

I am all about clean code myself, it's a must. ;) Good luck fixing it up.
