Hey, I am not sure if this has been told/done by somebody earlier. If yes, my apologies. If you have a Blogger blog, and if you change your display name to your site name, there is a high possibility that it will get registered in your reader's mind. I do not think it will increase the link traffic, since the display name does not have a link, but that will be like a good branding mechanism. What do you guys think? Thanks, Ramesh
I don't know about you, but I almost never look at who writes a blog. If I find a blog I want to visit over and over again, I remember and/or bookmark the url, but I don't bother remembering the author's name. Seems it couldn't hurt, but might not help as much as you might think.
I'm confused! Do you mean change your username to match your site? I don't see how that would reinforce anything with the user. Now, I agree that if you change the title of the blog to the url you have at blogger, that would reinforce your location. For instance, if my blog is at myblog.blogger.com, it will help if you had the words "My Blog" on your blog in case they wanted to come back.
