New Host - Will it hurt SE Rankings?

I am having lots of problems with my current host. I am planning to move it to a more reliable server.

Will this affect my search engine rankings?

Could you also recommend a reliable host with low cost reseller account so I can host all of my domains.

    Thank you!

Apparently host gator is great, I ust posted a thread and everyone said great things

I'm not sure if it will affect your rankings, but it shouldn't, it'll just be an IP address change

The only thing that will effect your SERP's during the move is any downtime that you may have. Good luck...

I recommend leaving your old site in place on the current server for a couple of weeks. You can still change the domain to the new host, and set up your site, but wait until Google crawls your new site decent before you delete your old account. This will help make sure Google knows where the new site is.
