New Host-Serverfly-Good??? Bad????

    Im considering opening a basic account with Serverfly.com, as they seem to offer quite a bit for the $$$

    Does anyone have any experience with them?

    As a follow up regarding Serverfly...they suck! I have hosted with them for 3 years they have gotten progressively worse. Overloaded servers (server load average runs way too high, between 2.0 and 15!!) on most days. Huge billing problems, OK tech support. Do yourself a favor, and stay away!

    Hard to find a good and cheap shared webhosting that doesn't have overloaded servers... it's a pity

    I am using hostgator now and even though never had billing problems, I've been having all kind of tech problems lately..

    Load 15 is certainly very high!

    2 is OK but if it stays there for long then its massive trouble! Stay away from such hosts!

    I like the fact that you really came back after two years to post an update on them, kudos to you. As for hosting, keep searching, try to find a host where you pay a little more, get a little less of space and bandwidth, but get some real support and non-oversold servers. If you search well, you will definitely find them.
