Hi everyone, I have a site which has been registered since 1996, and so the has authority and trust. But we just recently redesigned the site and when you enter the domain name i.e. domain.com it then re-directs to domain.com/index.cfm/whatever/home.welcome What's happened the re-direct was initially a 302, and then it was changed to a 301 so therefore the search engine crawlers can crawl new fresh content on the new URL. However this was implemented around 2 weeks ago and yet the new home page URL has still not been indexed. I would have thought the search engines would picked up the new URL, I know that the new URL's have now been crawled and indexed, but not the new home page URL! I'm not entirely sure if the home page link needs to have '/' implemented because at the moment the home page link links to /index.cfm/whatever/home.welcome. Do I need to change the home page link to '/'? Thanks Woldie.
