New header/banner contest - $25

Hi guys,

We need a new header for our site - canspace.ca

Here is the current one:



The new one must be the same size - 967px × 155px.

Please look at our site and see how it fits in there. Notice the white bar in the bottom right. This needs to be there and be the same size, as our breadcrumb text goes there.

Also, as you can see on our site, the space on the right needs to be somewhat plain as white text goes in that spot.

Other than that, the rest I'll leave up to you. The only requirement is that there is a Canadian maple leaf in there somewhere. Please take a look at our current site and make sure it would fit in colour-wise. Also, if it helps, we are a web hosting and domain registration company... so feel free to incorporate those ideas.

Winner will get $25 promptly. I'm thinking I'll end it by the end of the weekend, assuming I see something I like by then.

I do reserve the right to not declare a winner if I don't like anything... however this has never happened in any of our past contests... I have faith in the digitalpoint community

Will need something a lot more creative than that. We also don't really need the company name in it... as our logo is right above it.

As mentioned, we're a web hosting company and domain registrar... so perhaps something that incorporates those things. Or something corporate looking.

 

you need logo in this banner? If yes can i use the same logo ? Are going to use this in a same place ?

 

The logo is NOT needed in the banner. The banner will be in the EXACT place it is right now.... so the logo is already above it.

Mr. Legend - looking good! although I think I prefer something with a little more of a "corporate" theme...

webdeciphers - the text does not need to be in the image. the text is put on top of the image. not creative enough anyway

hmm I like this one too... but is it possible to move all the red streaks to the left? the problem is the text has to go on top of that area and it might be too distracting...

is it possible to make a few minor modifications... a) could you move the maple leaf in her hand up a bit, so you can see a bit of the stem.

and b) in the middle is it possible to incorporate some sort of silhouette/outline of a globe... or perhaps an @... or something to convey the whole "internet business" part of things?
