I am not really sure it is new, but I have never seen it before. Try it yourself. http://www.google.ca/interstitial?url=http://asta-killer.com/list/office%25202003%2520serial.html That's a really good thing google has added to the engine. Many times my pc f's up because of things I click.
Google has basically given the finger to sites that host "bad" software by displaying interstitial pages. These pages are shown when a users clicks on a potentially harmful link that has been reported to stopbadware.org as distributors of "badware". The majority of web users either don't care or don't know about malicious software, and that's where stopbadware.org comes in. With their database of useful information, pages like this (soon to replace the generic link on the interstitial) will help educate users about bad software and give them guidance they can trust. Google is the first search engine to provide this level of protection for users. This small page will cause greater peace of mind when visiting sites that can cast doubt — or at least it will give these "badware" sites another obstical to avoid. Any test strings to search for to find this thing? Though I don't go LOOKING for spyware, would like to know this is what it is when I see it, should I come across it .
Usually I don't either. It came up by accident, believe it or not. http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=office+2003+serial&meta= "Office 2003 Serial"
Go Google. Nice move. I've never seen these pages but it is a good move so people who don't know too much about the Internet understand that they are entering a "danger zone". Skinny
I posted about this a while back - but the site was one I was linking to as a source of information about phishing - I reported it as a 'good' site through that page and got a textual 'pat on the back' for doing a good deed from Google that was quite amusing. Lisa
