New Google Site?

Found this site in my referrer stats today at www.google-find-it.com
I never came across this one before.
I think it's a legit Google site - the search results are completely ad free.

 

It's not an official Google site.
Check the Whois (and it doesn't handle accented characters).

 

It's a google clone.

 

At first glance I though it was just another non-official domain name, later purchased by Google, but looks like it's time to give a shout to www.google.com/contact/spamreport.html

 

Yea, you are right - I should have checked Whois.
Is it leagal to get a site like this up and running? It's showing ©2007 Google

Of course it is illegal and I wondering two things:

1. what for is used that site?
I can't see any Adsense publisher code as I thought

2. what for the OP made the link alive?
Is this a way to promote such site? of course I may be wrong with this

 

This site will be down soon for sure as it's posted here and soon it will be reported to google

I got this also in my stats, but I shrugged it off. Weird that people are actually using this crap!
