Has anyone noticed the new functionality of google search. When you do a search, the result page shows "Try alternate searches" link at the bottom of the page. When you click this link, you see a page full of results from similar search terms. Kinda like what Yahoo have had for a while now. Pretty cool!
They have been trialing that on and off for six to twelve months in different regions. What I'd like to know is - it seems to be based on what sites optimize for, not what people typically search for (same with yahoo). I'd preferr to see suggestions based on common searches.
