New Google Results Format

The new format looks good for me. I think it's more user-friendly and shortcut your way in website navigation.

 

I still can't figure out how they're choosing which links to display as sub-listings.

Some of the listing for my sites are pretty obscure....not even part of my main menu.

 

I have a forum where google decided that a thread about sex shops is very important and it is showing it as a sitelink.

 

you can edit your sitelinks in your webmaster tools panel

 

I've never been able to get that to work. It always says, "Google has not generated any sitelinks for your site."

But it does...and has for years now.

It's actually been updated again.

 

Strange... I can see 6 sitelinks generated for one of my site in webmaster tools yet I can't see it on google result.

Btw, one of the title links that google generated is not the same as the title I use on the page but it's the same as most of the backlink anchor text to that page. Perhaps google use it to generate sitelinks?
