Yeah, not a personal comment, I am just so sick of people whining about their loss of rankings and posting all over the place that it is linkvault's fault or the coop's fault. Someone here posted that Google considers hundreds of values in order to rank a site, so why don't people focus on trying to figure out what went wrong, or why don't they just go back to work and improve their sites instead of blaming other people of their failure? If my rankings suddenly dropped I wouldn't come here posting crap about the coop and how it made my site drop, I would just start hunting some good sites to trade links with, maybe do a redesign on my site, move around some keywords, add more content and get my rankings back
Understood. I see your point now. Didn't think about repetitious reading. But I'm not sure if your comments were directed towards myself or not. All I was asking was other's opinions about the latest google shot which seemed to be directed towards programs like the co-op network. I haven't lost anything personally, just found it interesting that google would write into their algo something that seemed to be a direct result of DP's program. I guess for people that might come to this forum sparingly, the sarcastic response about reading the same thing over and over again might not be the "friendliest" approach. It's almost like telling someone, "Hey, why don't you go ahead and read the almost 400k posts on this forum before you start asking questions. This is such a busy forum, you're guaranteed to have not so frequent visitors...like me who just reads what they need to.
