New google map feature

    Have you seen the new google map feature?

    New map type: Hybrid

    It is an overlay of street map over satellite data.

    Pretty cool!

    Very cool feature!

    try to find "the whitehouse" or the Captiol: the satellite images are blurred!

    It's pretty good, but for the UK maps at least the overlay isn't quite right, the roads tend to go through the houses!

    It's probably rather easier to cope with the straight, right-angled corner roads in the US than the mad twisty mess of roads we have here :)
