This won't dramatically change anything for now, but G is also releasing Caffeine within the next few months so maybe it's time to at least start preparing. Google have been testing a new green bar interface which has a similar look and feel to Wave. To get to it, you need to make sure you load the US Google site and not any other country's, so if you're outside of the US you can go to www.google.com/ncr to force the US homepage. Then when it's loaded, copy the following into the address bar but make sure it's the only text there, so no http://google.com before it. Now close the tab and open a new one and return to Google or to google.com/ncr for those outside the US and make a search.
1. Go to http://www.google.com/ncr 2. Click on the address bar and remove the google.com/ncr 3. Paste in the following 4. Hit Enter 5. Reload Google 6. Make a search
Its a much better interface. The right sidebar is now everytime in view and thats what i liked the best. More web2.0ish Look - better than the usual simple button interface TetraLabs
yeah I saw an article about it on hubpages. I applied the code and found it to be rather 'vibrant' guess it's the wave of the future lol more info about it: new google search UI ROOFIS
The 'see also' that appears in the bar at the left is good, because it shows that the system knows that 'gizmodo' is similar to arstechnica, engadget, gdgt, etc.
