This won't dramatically change anything for now, but G is also releasing Caffeine within the next few months so maybe it's time to at least start preparing.

Google have been testing a new green bar interface which has a similar look and feel to Wave. To get to it, you need to make sure you load the US Google site and not any other country's, so if you're outside of the US you can go to www.google.com/ncr to force the US homepage. Then when it's loaded, copy the following into the address bar but make sure it's the only text there, so no http://google.com before it.

Now close the tab and open a new one and return to Google or to google.com/ncr for those outside the US and make a search.

Its a much better interface. :D

The right sidebar is now everytime in view and thats what i liked the best.

More web2.0ish Look :p - better than the usual simple button interface :p

    It's nice.
Sidebar menu disappears if you click on to images after a search.

The 'see also' that appears in the bar at the left is good, because it shows that the system knows that 'gizmodo' is similar to arstechnica, engadget, gdgt, etc.
