Wow you are a genius man. Why didn't I think of that. The thread was high up in the list so I assumed it was recent. Being as Google just released a beta of their new interface I assumed the content was current.
I really hate it, when searching for something then using my scroll down it changes to different suggestions by it self then i lose my results and have to start again. I really think they should change back to the old system.
I AGREE! I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THIS NEW INTERFACE! IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE SHIT IN A BUCKET THEN THREW UP ON IT AND STIR FRIED IT ALL TOGETHER AND FINALLY BLEACHED IT ALL THEN TRIED TO CALL IT AN INTERFACE. I can't tell you how much I hate this new interface, specially google voice it's been raped. If I was superman I would fly around the earth super fast and turn back time and go up to the UI developers at google and bitch slap them.
Definitely some glitches showing up. I talked to Google on the phone yesterday. Support emailed me also. They are aware of the problems and are working on it. Since they provide so many free tools and applications, I can not whine because something is not perfect yet. We live in an un-perfect world for those who have not noticed...........
Yes, but the original interface was as close to perfect as people needed. So now they not only make the interface look like absolute shit we have to also deal with the glitches that they created by messing up something that was perfectly fine to begin with. It's things like this that lose you market share, FreeBSD was owning Linux back in the day all the way up to version 5.x release. They changed EVERYTHING and in the process introduced glitches that took 2 years to clear up. That's all the time it took for FreeBSD fans to say, "if I have to relearn an OS I might as well learn the cutting edge one, being Linux". This type of thing has been well documented through out history to kill a project faster than you can say flash. Now google is following their example, GOOD JOB GOOGLE, BUNCH OF MORONS!
Globegenius: You've got a point they're still working to make it into something near perfection. This thing bugs me but I still love Google because they've got a lot of awesome things for us, making it better everyday.
I have to say, I'm not a fan of this either, but I am slowly getting used to it. I liked it before, will learn to like this too. Maybe they've hired some of Facebook's staff ... implement changes regardless of what the users think.
I actually prefer the new interface. Â The only new Google interface that I don't like is the new analytics.
IT indeed changed a little, but I think it is common that there needs some changes. Otherwise, there would be no new experience and no advance. Anyway, the new interface brings us new experience, doesn't it?
the interface is great.. its just you are not used to it.. once you get used to.. you will like it.. anything new is hard to use in the beginning..
