Just saw a new design when i searched for something on Google. It disappeared when i hit the refresh button but luckily i took a screenshot ;)

I'm assuming the ad placements will still be in the same places as before, but i cant tell since i have a firefox plugin that removes ads.

Could this be a new design Google will introduce permanently?

    There's nothing new I guess..
It's the search results pages with options pane open.

There is no denying the fact that the changes appear cosmetic but then, they surely provide better facility/options to the real end user! :)

I guess this will be their answer to Bing's shiny design :p

Any news when are they planning to implement this?
