New google ad placement

    In order to get a better CTR I have put to large google ads at the top of the pages of this site:

    http://www.mytroutfishingtips.com

    It looks horrible as hell but should increase CTR - what do you think? I'm going to try it out for a week and see what happens.

    I imagine that directory submissions are going to be a waster of time whilst I have the site like this?!

    Hi,

    Nice site.

    Maybe a color change and the google ads running from side to side wouldnt really be so bad. With the top ads like they are , there kinda really consuming tons of valuable space.

    I think it needs more color, I would make the font color of your header red or blue and the ad links.. red or blue (same color as the header)

    I think the first ad placement is good, but you can change your font to match your ads font.
    And definetly need more colors.

    Yes absolutely more color. about the ad placement... It's a little bit messed up as Zerosleep said... agree with that

    AdSense ads are completely suitable in their places now because they are perfectly tuned to the topic of your site and are providing valuable content themselves. But it would be a good idea to paint the text of your site in bright tropical colors because everything is the same now without prominent land marks which is very hard to read.
