New Global search and image/alt tags

I am wondering if anyone has been noticing an increase of image traffic. I really haven't kept up on my image alt tags for quite awhile but I am noticing the one's I did take the time and set up are now bringing me some more traffic with the new global search. Anyone noticing the same?

 

What the theame of your site? there are some categories get more image traffic.

 

I think it depends on your site theme.. I did not notice any increase for my site thou..

 

I notice alot more traffic with people looking for wheels. I use Velaro and can see the image res search definately increasing.

 

putting some alt tag the arelated to your site wont hurt or take you long time but it will give good benefit yo your site. try to do it as a habit.

 

Can you give us some examples, or your website url? Currently I got no traffic increase from google.
