I would be very surprised if this is actually enforced.I feel confident it will be like the Do not call list.a couple people got fined then it just kind of went away.

If you want to disclose, not a bad idea to copy the way the guy does it on moneysavingexpert.co.uk

He has always disclosed and has a big following.

I posted lots of info in various places here about the upcoming FTC guidelines and I know there are tons of different threads about the issue.

    Just stumbled across this today.

There will be a FREE webinar about the FTC issues tomorrow, Monday, November 9, 2009 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM EST. It's being held by Joel Comm and his attorney.

You can sign up for this free webinar here

In case you missed it, I think I posted somewhere that his attorney previously weighed in on the issues (below) but I assume he may have some new insights to add.

Was going to say the same thing - he explains it very well. See http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/site/moneysavingexpert-finance. However he is on TV and has 2 million subscribers to his email, so he has the economy of scale to lost a few quid to unaffiliated links (which he needs to include to show he is impartial).

How did you know that he always disclosed and where can I find it? I'm not really sure of what you mean. If I promote affiliate products in my own website or blog, how can I disclose them?

Sorry for this question, but I just need to know because I'm updated with this one.

He explains any financial interest and how affiliate links are used on the page linked above, in the section: So how does it generate revenue?

Rules and rules and rules....so happy i'm not a passenger on this boat, it's about to sink. It's sad to see all this happening, i heard they even chopped all of your personal gardens and you are not even allowed anymore to grow up a tomato...

    sad...

What??? What does tomatoes have to do with anything?

Reminder, today is the deadline. Are you compliant?

Do you have a disclosure policy up and have you
gone over your reviews and endorsements for compliance?
