It is number 2 out of 16million in google.co.uk (for me anyway)

Nice though, well done - it looks clean and simple to use.

Maybe you could have advanced search options/page - for things like phpbb only, vbulletin only - or even do follow only (if possible!) ;-)

 

Good forum. i know it is kind of simple but can you make it a bit more attractive. Features like able to find specific forums and not just profiles will be helpful too

Is nifty. Both of my major forums are indexed. I just submitted the small (~100 post/day) one.

Did you intentionally include big-boards or should that not be in there?

Really though, I kind of like it. It may take some work to make something useful out of it (the first thing that comes to mind - it could be a great ask.com competitor - invite people to ask questions, filter words before you send them to sphinx or whatever you use, invite people to ask questions and do strength based relevance matching : )

There seems to be escaping going wrt quoted strings (I searched for the "Don't hold your breath, hold mine" article >_>). Nix and use real_escape_string functions for your sanity.

The idea behind was actually when i was surfing some boards, i searched for Forums search engine after i had searching for several posts i had needed and seen before, and couldn't find it, so i thought it would be smart if their was a Forums search engine, after some weeks after i began i found out that their already exsisted some, but that is another case

Smart idea searchia for thinking to make a Forum Search engine even though that there are existing already you still pursued to make one...
