    Hi,

my name is Tom Maddocks and i am the owner of www.pchwforum.com. We are a relatively new forum and we are looking for someone to become an admin. The site is offering free Windows $ PC support forum and has around 100 registered users. We need a user who is strong willed who is willing to contribute to help make my site a success. You will be working along me and another admin which i hired around 2 months ago. I am also looking for moderators to help create a number of topics and to spark interesting discussions. Both positions will require a strong knowledge with computers and particularly Windows Based operating systems. I hope you warm to this and i hope to work with you in the future! Thank You

As far as strong knowledge of hardware/software is concerned i dont have that much .... but i may answer any queries of users with help of search engines . thats how i repair my computer. what are the responsibilities/duty of admin .and what are the advantages you will offer to him/her . Are you going to offer salary /and / or /performance incentives or just right to place affiliate links in signatures ?

    Hi,

thanks for your interest, the admin will have all permissions of a default installed admin apart from the following:

    skin manager access
    sql management
    subscriptions
    word & ban filters

Everything else will be accessible. I won't be offering a wage or payment but will give you the ability to use larger avatars, custom name colors, unlimited board based emails, 100000 pm's (As opposed to 50) and basically the ability to participate in a forum and to help develop a forum. It is new but i am adding new features to (Junior Admins) such as larger signature images and custom Admin Pages which can be used as a sort of mini website. You will need a basic knowledge and also have the time and patience to help and search for relevant information to help fix a users problem. You must participate regurlarly in the forum and create active topics (only 5 or 6) daily. I just want to make a forum, with a good team of staff and just basically make it successful. I think that being an admin is a rewarding position. Thanks for your interest!

That's a lot to ask from a volunteer. I've looked at your forum most of your posts are like mini articles. Which is good, but I think you'll have a hard time finding someone who's willing to do that for free.

It is but it is the only way the site is going to grow. We are starting to get a steady start of registrations but what the problem is that i am at school and the other admin is working, so we need someone to fill in, not necessarily always on but someone who could look every now and then.
