    They have been around for a while just now there standard so its officially launched, theres quite a few old posts on dp already about it.

    I don't like em very much. The previous "Ads by Google" sign was smaller and most visitors didn't see it. The new one is to big.

    Notice that Digital Point is still showing the old style? I wish I could get mine back like that as I have a bunch of site targeting ads, and like having that link to "advertise on this site" there.

    It might be officially changed from 4th of April but as MeetHere said they have been testing it for a while. I've seen it many times on my site.

    Google are experimenting quite a lot recently with the "Ads by Google" section. They've also been playing around with the background color of the "Sponsored Listings" section at the top of the SERPs page.

    Anyway this new layout is a welcome change by me as it places the "Ads by Google" text at the bottom, which will increase CTR IMO. :)

    Yup noticed this around two days ago. I didn't do anything and my ads were automatically updated to the new format. I'd say they're more professional looking and blends with pages even better.

    I actually sent AdSense a feedback and asked them on when would they give the same facelift to Link Unit ads. They should also update them IMHO.
