I hope this can be of interest to the digitalpoint community and apologies to the admins if they feel otherwise

We are beta-testing Brandmymail (brandmymail.com). It is a (free) new service that embeds social content into casual outgoing emails. It transforms your emails into something that looks like a well thought out mailchimp newsletter or a web page with your social net content on the fringes.

It is targeted at "self-promoters" and small companies who have an online presence (blog, facebook, ebay, pictures etc.) and that make extensive use of email. The system embeds the latest stuff from your/your-company's online world into your outgoing emails so people receiving emails from you are likely to click on links pointing to your online world, leading potentially to more page-views and more business. Every email branded will include dynamic content that you configure using templates and source plugins.

Currently the service requires you to have gmail account and the interactive template configuration process prefers Chrome or Firefox. Once configured you can use most email clients to send out branded emails

    looking forward to your feedback
