Yes I noticed those this morning, but I thought it was the Hay Fever making my eyes go funny again. They're a bit different aren't they?

I saw the same on one of my sites but now it's back to normal. May be some sort of testing.

    Yes they are testing.
There is an official reply from google on webmasterworld but it says nothing more than "Yes, we are using some publisher as guinea pigs"
I got a couple of impressions yesterday with a serif font on my wide skyscraper: it looks ugly and unprofessional on a sans serif website.
Today it seem back to normal.

So the fonts are changed... who cares? Like changing them would make you more money...
..And even if google tested them and they showed higher ctr by 0.1 that would mean an increase of income for google and a few more cents in your pocket.

Cant care less about the ctr. I just hope they finally will let publisher to choose the font that matches the rest of the website. Anyway, ads blindness is everyday stronger, so putting something different could make the trick.

Comic Sans is not a bad idea, however, Verdana or Tahoma should be better.

    Peace,

Indeed, Verdana would be better. For my eyes, at least.

Yes, I noticed it to. In my opinion it's uglier than the default AdSense font and the CTR will decrease.

How about this font? Looks like the font size is bigger than the line height so it's all squeezed up at the top

    Not very pretty
