Some people seem to have had success with it: http://www.zacharyfox.com/blog/search-engine-marketing/google-conversion-optimizer-results Not tried it myself though...
Hello, It is "Conversion Optimizer" : https://adwords.google.fr/support/bin/answer.py?answer=60150&hlrm=fr Your campaign must have received at least 300 conversions in the last 30 days. Then you can set a CPA value instead of CPC. The ads optimisation will be done for ads on Google and the content network. Optimization is done by website, keywords, location,... and you don't have to care about nothing. It is excellent
Yeah, this is the pay per action service Google has rolled out. They are evaluating it. AdWords advertisers qualify to use if by the conversion numbers you posted. It can work really well if you are selling a product since fraud is low. You can run into problems if your conversion is just capturing an email address or registration because there are fraud issues.
Yea, that was a typo I've read a bad review on it, but the guys conversion was not a sale, probably capturing an email. I wish I was making over 300 sales a month, I'd be a lot better off!
Why would that matter? A conversion is conversion and a system that is set up to optimize conversions should work across the board, wouldn't you think? ps - if you're talking about the review I wrote I wasn't capturing an e-mail - it was simply a view of a key page on the site.
I have started a test yesterday. Results seems to be very good. I am getting 2 times more leads (At the same price). And I don't need to care anymore about nothing (CPC, keywords,...)
