new feature at DP

hi admin,

things that was added while posting new thread is really nice, forum would be managed even nicely. I like this featuare.

 

Yeh nice feature indeed, reminds members to take notice and make sure that they're posting in the right section.

 

will help us not making mistake of putting the threads in the wrong corner

 

But i didn't see much change by this...

The newbies still make mistakes in posting in right section, probably because they are confused where to post it...

 

At least they have had a warning. Maybe they won't complain as much when they get an infraction.

 

or some times you are soo keen to make a post that you actually forget to chech the exact forum ... mistakes are part of human nature

 

I did not noticed that... ehehe on second thought I don't start threads much so I thought it was really how people post here

 

Will definetly help me, a lot of the times i have a lot of tabs open and i mistakenly make a new thread in the wrong one

OFC this will only make a difference until we get used to it, once we get used to it well check that box without even noticing At which point Shawn will have to change that to a visual confirmation box that we have to fill in, lol

 

Yes a good feature and it always compel me to think twice whether I am starting thread in an approprite section or not

 

And people still posting in wrong section should recieve a 1 pointer Infraction which is usually 0 pointer for a thread move to appropriate category.

 

can also be useful to send us a reminder 4 times a day by email to post all threads in the right forum or you get an infraction

 

That should only be there for people with less than a certian number of posts, like 100. I'm guessing it's the n00bies, er I mean newbies that make most of da threads that get posted on da wrong board!!!

 

yeah... or less than 5000 posts!

 

This feature i all over i think, i saw it in link sales too

 

I like this new feature although it might mislead some

they might think that their posting rights have been disabled !!!

 

Uhm you gotta be really stupid to think that... its not like the notice DOES NOT stand out :/

But since some people ARE stupid, it could be a good idea that shawn placed the notice in a RED box, if they miss it then they are color blind or just really really dumb

 

i wasn't reffering to myself, geek

but still there is a fact that DP might be the first forum to some and first vBulletin to others

 

i like the new feature as well thanx to inform

 

so from now if any such issues, where we can post?
