ive heard there are many new features in the new VBSEO update..

    would you recommend VBSEO?
does it help a site significantly..or even a little to get 10% more traffic from SERP?

It's RC8 now actually. vbSEO is a lot more than just rewritten url's, but at the same time you have to consider a couple of things when you are thinking about implementing it.

    1) are you willing to take the traffic loss while the SE's catch up to your new url structure?
    2) are you willing to have yet another copyright notice on the bottom of each and every page?
    3) are you willing to put an important part of your site up with an encoded (and therefore unchangable) set of functions.

I personally think vbSEO is a pretty solid product, but on the other hand there are some downsides that you at the very least need to be aware of. I don't actually run any high traffic forums, so I can't speculate as to a particular boost level from the SE's, but there are more than a few at vbSEO.com that have reported positive results.

Nice summary and including to them, as far as i read it also adds some load to the server. But url-rewrite and other optimizations are important for me: i will use vbseo on my new forum.

V7n forum's owner is also using vbseo and he said that he is very happy with VBSEO recently!

I use vBSEO on my Fable 2 Forum but none of my others - I personally think it is a great product but I certainly won't be buying any more licenses for it - they really are just too pricey at the moment.

I agree - and casper was right in pointing out the server load - not a huge increase, but obviously there is one.

Like I said, I think it's a good product, but I just mentioned those things because it's important to understand what your doing when you are doing it.

Factoid: Many vBSEO customers have more than 1 vBSEO license. They buy their first copy to evalute the product, and are so impressed, that they buy extra copies for their other forums. Some vBSEO customers have more than 20 forums vBSEO-enabled. And many of the top revenue generating forums are powered by vBulletin + vBSEO.
