    Hi guys,
I'm setting my e-commerce site for wearables.

I have different products, that are kind of similar
so, for example, watches for kids

I will start with 3 models, that are kind of similar on functionality, but different look.

Now how do I name them?

By the reference the Chinese manufacturer gives them?... XCYY-34

Or should I come with a name for the product?... CoolWatch misty

    Hi Manuel,

I would definitely recommend that you come up with a name for the product, with 3 different variations on that name. It makes you seem a lot more reputable, and you can use that name as a way to remind the potential customer of the benefit they'll be getting from the product. Reference numbers do NOT do that.
For example, if your watch is very comfortable, you can do Comfy Watch Round, Comfy Watch Square, Comfy Watch Digital. Or something to that effect.
You might want to check out Nick Kolenda's long, but extremely helpful article on product naming. I often use it as my guide when creating product names for my clients, and always with successful results.

    Good luck!
