I just finished this site up today.. Just a bit of fine tuning left and need to finish adding our products. We have been selling electronics for awhile locally and decided to give it a go on the web.

    www.jheusa.com

I will be changing the logo.. the current is just a quick temp.. Let me know your feedback on that too!

    Thanks!

I think the design needs a little work. I like the simplicity of it, but it's too plain and generic. The home page in particular would need a major redesign -- I'd like to see more graphics, testimonials (if you have any) and other information about your business.

If you can do the url´s seo-friendly. Perhaps something like this:

    http://jheusa.com/shop/tv/lcd.php

    And so on...

    Cheers Jimmy

As a consumer, I want the ability to buy from your site without registration. You should also show me the approx cost at all times, on every page. If possible, show what the approximate shipping will be (FREE! or 12.95 flat rate, etc).

Also, anytime you want to collect any data about me, make sure it's on a secure site (https) -that builds consumer confidence. Also add any signs of security (HackerSafe, Verisign, etc) - consumers need visual re-enforcement that you are protecting their information - this perception leads to the reality that if your site takes that much time to think about their privacy, you'll probably provide great service too.

    just my $.02

Your site looks nice. However, I agree with everything that everyone has said thus far.

I see you are using Joomla, I would recommend making some changes for SEO purposes. Joomla isn't too SEO friendly right out of the box. However, this site can give you all of the information you need to rank better in the search engines.

    http://www.joomlaseo.net/

I also recommend changing your favicon. It is still the standard Joomla one.

I'd try and make the menu to the right jump out a bit more if I were you. It looks good, but at first glance, I didn't even see it.

The site doesn't actually require registration to make a purchase.. Basically when they enter their ship to info it will register them and assign a password automatically.. They can then later login to check the order status. (should i explain this on the welcome page?)

I charge actual shipping up to $500 purchases.. Then it's free.. I don't know how to give approximations as it will vary depending upon their shipping option.

I like the idea of the https but I don't know how to code that.. Would you please help me?

What do you think would make the menu stand out more?

    Thanks!

as a consumer i would not even slightly consider buying from your site as theres no mailing address on the contact form .... i find it unlikely ANY consumer is going to buy a 3 grand lcd tv an not have an address to scream at if something goes wrong .. sorry if you dont want to hear that , but buying a 5 dollar ebook , no ones going to worry --- but with large expensive electrical items it will be critical to show a mailing/shop address for queries/returns

your site looks good yeah i like that joomla template ...

    remarks:

    1 irrelevant welcome message font

2 search engine is not working I tried "LCD" it returns nothing

3 logo odl-fashioned : you need a lot of time to recognize what it tells

you site is good in overall

The overall theme is too generic and plain. Also the font color should be black not gray, it blends in too much.

Your links page needs a "link to us" section. People should be able to copy the code and paste it on their website.

    Where's the search button?

Get rid of the word "home" above the welcome text.

Put a site map link on the bottom of the page.

You need to add more lively colors to the site to spice things up.

Looks good but I would do two things.

Either move your opening text or shorten it. Also, the italics don't do it for me. My first reaction was to skip the text and look at the pictures.

Either shorten it, split it up, or move it all together.

    Just my take
