Hey All, We have recently switched over to a dynamicly generated site-map comprised predominantly of a keword rich product list, but I'm concerened for the impact this may have on our positon in the serps. I left the original files up (.htm) with a redirect to the new files (.php) in hopes that this would lead the search engines to index the new files, whereafter we would drop the old, however now I see that Yahoo has re-cached the original.htm, where -- after the re-direct -- Yahoo cache returns Position for this particular page does not appear to have suffered any, but I'm conerned that the .php pages aren't getting indexed. On the otherhand, our new home.php HAS been indexed by Yahoo, so maybe it's just a matter of waiting for the deep crawl? No change on GOOGLE as yet. Haven't checked on MSN. Any thoughts???
