New Domains

    It appears that nowadays when I buy a new domain and link it to my host, it's unavailable for like 24 hours (with that default "parked"-type page).

    Then, it is suddenly accessible again. But only for like an hour, then it goes back to being "parked".

    I know this has something to do with DNS servers or something, but I never really understood it. And this is new, too. I used to buy a domain, apply the correct nameservers and almost instantly have access to working on it. Nowadays it takes like a week until it's stable.

    Is there anything I can do to speed this up?

    This is very normal when you just update the name servers.
    But, this settles back to normal and the site shows up in 1-2 days.

    It could be the place where you purchase your domain. Mine always work instantly. Btw, there is a Domain section you know.
