Hello, I have 2 new domains (2 years old) and old ones about 5 years old. When I submit new sites to search engines and social bookmarking sites every two days, my new sites don't show up on Google anymore. Old sites are ok. In other words, it does not matter how often I submit new content or pages o search engines or social bookmarking sites, they are still indexed good. So, I don't think it is a good idea to keep submitting and/or updating for new sites. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
CONTENT IS KING - to keep your site "running" w/ the rest of the pack, you need to consistently update your content daily (i.e. post and submit). Google: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools Yahoo: https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/mysites Bing: http://www.bing.com/webmaster/WebmasterManageSitesPage.aspx?FORM=JPWA You can add your site using each of these pages. They also provide a code which you can add to the header of your site to verify your site. Q: what social bookmarking sites are you submitting to? For search engines to keep picking up on your sites (old or new), the content for each site needs to be updated DAILY along with the usual task of submitting your new posts to social bookmarks and other search marketing tasks.
Yeah, I also think the content is very important for ranking. Only if you update your website regularly, you may get good benefits.
Domain is a factory in raking as Google consider them more reliable.. If I have to give preference then My I give 1st point to Content and 2nd point to domain age(more than 1year)
if you have lot of good site content, thats the main thing to indexed in google, then make some back links !!
2 years is not actually very new ... do you mean new blog posts made on the site and the speed in which google indexes them?
old domains always has an advantage with new domain because search engine give a lot of factor with domain age.
how long you submit that site?I guess it the site not yet index reason why its not on the serp or doesn't have enough reputation to show in the serp for a specific keywords.
