New Domain PR3 In 4 Months Doing Nothing. Never Happened To Me Before

    Four month ago I bought a new domain just to promote a free product to help my list grow up.
    It has just one page, the opt-in page. Nothing more.
    It is not SEO optimized and I have built NO backlinks.
    I just uploaded it and sent traffic to it for about a couple of weeks. Then I just forgot about it.
    A couple of weeks ago, I thought about the site and went check it. It had (and still has) PR3. Weird, right?
    I run several sites and have never seen the PR of any site go up so fast doing absolutely nothing.

    Has this happened to anybody here?

    I guess there was maybe an old site on it. What does the backlinkchecker say?

    I bought it with PR0
    It has about 30 backlinks, mostly from forum posts.

    Is that google ranking wrong ? If from PR 0 --> PR 1 without to do nothing, I have got this experience before
