New Domain or Aged Domain

I am about to launch my first blog and I considering buying an aged domain instead of getting a new one. I will make subdomains off of this main domain. Is there any SEO advantage in getting an aged domain.? BTW, the aged domain I'm looking at had the same content as I will be using. The only thing it has going for it is age....no PR, no traffic, no backlinks, etc.

    Thanks

You need to check and see if it has been dropped in the past. A dropped domain does not hold its pr or anything very well.

if the domain isn't dropped than the aged domain is definitely the way to go

It'll have very little advantage if you need aged domain name without PR, traffic, backlinks.
