New domain name - what to do with it

    ...... links (dot) com

Bought it to develop a Pligg site/Directory. After checking Pligg, i gave up. A directory is cool as long as i could run away from phplinkdirectory. ($$$)

So what to do with it to monetize it asap? Develop a php script myself? Use Wp in it and develop a directory?

    Your thoughts?

Have you actually got links.com, or something else with links at the end?
Well, if it's got links in it, make it a directory, get a nice PR, then sell it on.

Doesn't matter: as long as you make it easy for people to submit their sites too.

Any other link directory scripts available, maybe for free? And what about a PHPdug site? Digg clone? That way i could be using it to get some SEO love to some of my sites while developing something useful for others.

Yeah its a good to start with a free link directory script such as this http://software.intlws.com/Free-Sof...p-Scripts/Site-Sift-Listings-Links-Directory/
After you get a lot of visitor then only consider using paid script

Cheers guys, just started messing with a free script. Not sure if this is what i want but i'll keep on testing and customizing since a client just saw this one and wants a more developed clone of it, so not a bad move after all :)
