New Domain name for old ranking sites?

    I've got a few old sites ranking well: with urls such as:
    widgets.somefreehost.com



    My question is if i buy a domain for them will people see that domain name when they find the results in google, or will they still see widgets.somefreehost.com ?

    If you can 301 redirect the old site to your new domains, you should do it to inform SE that its the new domain and retain your rankings.
