New Domain for Each Sub-Niche?

Hi everybody, I really need your advice. I have a health-related domain name which can be used to promote different sub-niches (e.g. weight loss, skin care etc.).

Do you think that I should use the same domain for every sub-niche by creating new sub-directories (not sub-domains) or buy a new domain that includes the keyword for each sub-niche?

Are there any obvious pros and cons to both methods when it comes to SEO?

Any input will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Depends, how old is your current domain?
New domains can take quite some time to be recognized as authoritative in competitive niches.
By using one domain with the sub niches you are making your site an overall authority.
By using separate domains you are specializing in each niche.
So perhaps do both and be your own competition?

I think this questions really depends on where your current site is located in the SERPs now. I had a client the was in Real Estate and they too targeted different niches as sub domain within their main domain. However, their manin domain had no traffic and rankinsg so I suggested exactly what you are inquiring above. SEO takes time and money...especially if you cant do it yourself. By breaking them up into their own domain you can target all of the keywords around it and if money runs thing, you can choose to put more money in the more profitable niche.

I think if you have new domain name for the each sub niche you will need to have separated SEO done for all those new domain names. That is not easy, but I believe once you have that done you will have good profit
