    Hi All,
We have been in business for past 10 years.Recently we expanded our business and got a new name and also a new domain name which matches our new name.

My question is Our old domain had good search engines presence. Can we transfer this to new domain ? what should we do not to loose our external links and keyword rankings?

    Thanks

Yes, you can do this... All you need to do is set up a 301 redirect from your old domain to new domain. This will carry forward your backlink credit, PR with minimal loss and domain reputation.

Yes you can transfer it to new domain by doing 301 redirection perfectly and in my opinion don't use html redirection, try to use php(for php site) or javascript redirection.

hmm.. As per me if it is not necessary than don't change the domain name. 301 redirection works but it harms your reputation. Also you need to create a backlinks and labor work for the new bee. So think before taking any decision. If you made up your mind than 301 redirection helps you.
