New DO-FOLLOW Link Builder - Similar to Squidoo

I just found a great resource to build links. Currently all links you list there are Do-Follow and actually seem to get quite a bit of click through if you DO IT RIGHT.

But I empathize the point to DO IT RIGHT - because if you just add you link and go, you wont get much PR or click through. But if you focus on making a good setup - then in addition to getting the basic PR4 Follow Link others will link into your Bundle and increase its PR and even others will embed the widget into their site increasing. A well placed links can get 1000's of click through of focused traffic.

So the site is called YouBundle and it seems to be a place where people arrange links on any subject into a Bundle. A Bundle needs a minimum of 3 links to be published, but most good bundles have more.

Now to make my point - let me tell you the wrong way to Bundle that will get you no traffic and then I will tell you the Right way to Bundle

    THE WRONG WAY

    • You add your Link
    • You add the Wikipedia article on your subject
    • You add some photo or a sub-page
    • You Publish with the bare minimum

If you Bundle like this - your Bundle is going to quickly drop into oblivion because there are many people bundling on the same subject. That there is no quality in your Bundle and hence you go nowhere.

    THE WAY TO TRAFFIC

I am not sure if I should be telling this because this service is brand new and not too many people use it yet. But I figure what is good for the community helps me in the long run.

So lets say that you have a website that you want to promote. Say it is a site that is a price comparison shopper affiliate for Cameras.

Well as described above the bad way wont get you far. But the good way to Bundle on this subject would be to pick one specific model of Camera and bundle on that. (we are thinking long tail of course)

So First we would get info from the manufacturer sites, and various review sites. We would goto Flickr and Google images and grab some pictures and then goto YouTube and maybe find a review by some Video Blogger or Cnet or something and post it as well. Then of course we would include a deep link to that particular section of your price comparison site.

The idea is to create a good Neighborhood - a useful source of information on your niche subject and then to place the link out to your site within that neighborhood.

The best thing is that YouBundle has an embeddable widget. Meaning that if other people like your Bundle and find it useful, they can with a cut and paste embed it within their website or blog. Meaning that if you make a Bundle that is found useful to people - the right blogger can make your link go viral and be seen by thousands with just a few clicks.

So now that you know. Maybe you can check out some of my Bundles and see how I was able to create good a good neighborhood to bump up the rankings of the sites I promote.

If you like this post give a reply with a thanks and a link to the bundle that you created

Oh and make sure to check out the Tutorials especially the Advanced Bundling one.

Good luck and make sure to add me as a friend.

Looks promising. Will give it a try. Does it allow affiliate link? (I know I should read the FAQ, just hoping for a quick answer... ;p)

Their terms of service does say no affiliate links, but to be honest I dont think anybody is checking because I actually snuck a few in my bundles and they are still there.

I think the point is if you are making quality content they dont care because it is win/win.

But wouldn't this be interpreted as link farming? How about the issue whereby there could be a bunch of unrelated topics bundled together. Sorry for being so direct but I'm quite confused on the whole concept and mainly it's on the effectiveness.

Not really sure. maybe take a look and see what the bundles are about. most seem to be relevant on a specific topic. I am sure that people can do whatever they want and the irrelevant ones just wont gain exposure, just like squidoo you can make a lens on whatever you want - it is allowed to publish - but only making a quality lens and promoting it properly is worth your time.

Its just a platform - and people can do whatever they want with it. if used well it will be helpful to build authority for your sites since it has Traffic, PR and Follows

If they aren't allowing affiliate links, can we submit our landing page instead?

similar kind of thing you can do with bimbl.com

create a post/blog about any subject and it allows follow links.

like a more simple version of squidoo.

I forgot to say. After you make your Bundle, you should promote it by sharing it on social sites like Stumble Upon and Delicious. That way the Authority of the Bundle increases and hence the authority of the pages it is linking to.

For those Bundling - I just found a few great resources to help out. This is an Advanced Bundling Video for power users and this is a Squidoo Lens someone made to walk you through the process.

Also dont forget to convert them to RSS feeds and submit them using pingler! This means when you update the bundle, you'll gets 100's of backlinks automatically.
