I just wanted to let everyone know that AroundTheWeb.com just got updated today to PR5. I was hoping that the update would have given me a 6 or 7 but I'll take a 5 for my first update.

In most of the subcategories they are PR 3 and 4 so. Just wanted to give an update on my directory.
    :)

I'd be more inclined to add my site to yours if you were somehow able to make it free for a certain time period (like until your PR was 7+). There are hundreds of directories out there already, and if you play the cards right, you'll be making a great deal more with a large, high quality directory, having many quality sites to begin with is going to increase your visibility and promotion will more or less take care of itself.

That's your choice of course. But when site was first launched there was an opportunity for half priced submissions. Even at at PR 5 Dir still much cheaper than many other directories out there. My directory is what it is right now, growing each month and as I grow marketing of the directory increases.

Yep good luck with it. I'm still working on my own one, so complicated working on the categories but should be launched Jan 1st or so...

I agree besides marketing making sure that you have a good directory structure is a time consuming task.

yep, as for Marketing I think I'm going down the magazine route. I see alot of Directories relie on Google, but I'm trying to steer mine away from that site...we'll see what happens, it's pretty clear in my head.

Just saw this site mentioned above seems right now PR0. wow! that is a dramatic change. I have just created a few directories, and hope they can get some pr soon.
