    The link: FreelanceLocalTech (www.freelancelocaltech.com)

The purpose of the site is to provide a way for freelance consultants to market their services to potential clients in their local community. Over many years of consulting, I've found that clients have a hard time finding local technical consultants, and freelance consultants have a hard time figuring out how to find new clients. So we launched FreelanceLocalTech about 2 months ago and are actively marketing it to both clients and consultants.

Our current traffic is growing about 25% per week and running about 50-50 between clients and consultants, although clients tend to come and look at consultant profiles (for free) and consultants are posting profiles of their companies/services. Clients can also post their projects/jobs (for free) and the posting can be e-mailed to all consultants in their region.

We're not an eLance or guru; we don't accept projects for bid or any of that stuff. This is all about helping consultants find local clients (and vice-versa) to establish a long-term working relationship that benefits both parties. As any successful freelance consultant will tell you: projects end, clients come back for more.

We also don't accept consultants outside the USA, although we're working to bring Canada online in the next two months with the UK to follow a few months after that. We'll post announcements when that happens.

If you're a freelance application developer, web developer, web designer, tech writer, system/network administrator, database guru, graphics artist or other type of technical consultant with your own small business, please stop by and post your profile.

Bonus! Until Sept 15, all new consultant listings get an automatic 2-month upgrade for FREE. The upgrade expands the area in which clients will see your listing. Check it out! freelancelocaltech.com

As consultants, we have already gotten calls from potential clients - so we know they are out there and using our site.
