Now why would I want to do that? I have and will spend quite a bit on marketing,so I don't think It's to much to ask for $4.50 for a quality directory that will go to pr 6, get it now and save money as these are permanent listings,I will guarantee that these prices will go up on the next update.

Well for one thing you'll get spidered with little to no content, and this will hurt you with most SEs. You really wont get paid listings until you have PR.

Unless you want to mention the great backlinks that are promising this PR6, but even then a bird in hand....
