Not too shaby, some of the fields for links did not work properly, seemed like too many fields. I will also implement a capucha unless you want millions of spam bots.
Oh thanks, this would be a good chance to submit my site... Any other directories that you want to share?..
Thats 1 of the best looking directories Ive seen. Just wondering how you got it liek that? Custom design or template? because The normal script is hell uglyy
Hello... Very nice simple design that looks good. Seems to have a good bit of info (content on front page) so it should do good. Start promoting it and gathering links and in a few years it might be a top contender. thx M1
Such awesome directories I have ever found well improve color combination everything are good really an awesome one I really like your directory and also I have submitted my site is there any other directories for us that you want to share?
It's a stretched design, the top menu uses jquery. Works in all browsers (not in ie 5.5), it's 90% CSS based. All categories and subcategories containn a relevant description (better then a simply link) Useless pages have rel="nofollow" to control link juice flow. (see image, red squared links = nofollow) Attached blog for content renewal, fresh content. All content is unique. There are two plans, standard and express. The express costs $10 (it's promo) and allows you to submit 5 deep links. The express Listing has a small thumbnail on it's right side on the category page too. (see image) Both listing types have bigger thumb on details page. Both Standard and Express listings can have a longer description on their details page (example here) which can be a relevant to the listing's niche article. Also can include 1 (ONE) hyperlink into the article's body. Each listing is listed from the category page (see the image) and the details page. You can Upgrade/modify listing at any time. You can submit a business address/contact info if you want. The details page can be submitted to Digg, Furl, SU, etc. You can se BBcode to enhance listing's description. http://www.jasminedirectory.com/images/ptdp.gif Any suggestions? Bugs encountered?
@earticles: Since none of the other posts have told you, there is a section for getting websites reviewed and another section for announcing directories. You have posted this thread in a wrong section of forum. I am sure your directory will get much more submissions if you post it in the right section: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=65 If you were just looking for website review you should try this place: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=23
jitendraag: Thank you for moving my thread. Though, so far no suggestions from you guys. What should we add more? Anything to remove? Then, by SEO pint of view, it is ok to have in all categories and subcategories pages (relevant) descriptions?
Nice design, I like your logo. I wouldn't say that you should have all the descriptions same, but again, that's my opinion.
Professional Dude: But all descriptions are unique content and different on each. There are over 200 cats/subcats and therefore 200 different relevant description on each cat/subcat page. And a nice pic.
Thank you so much for all opinions, feedbacks and so. I also clean up the Markup code and CSS to be 100% w3C valid (see bottom of page). Thanks.
