So whats the catch. I see one such thread daily here. Someone starts a thread and asks others to list the quality paid directories.

Anyways. What you have to say about my Web1 Directory . I am putting a lot of work into it.

 

I guess Pete wants to submit to those directories before they get strong and the prices go up.

 

same thinking then.. I think I would like to know why they are to be quality in the future? Some stats would be nice.

It is a PR4 and is growing higher and higher
And i am sure it has a lot of good future

 

so, in that mind, how many of you have missed the opportunities that were available and regretted? I have missed quite a few because there are so many new directories show up on a daily basis, thinking there would be new one tomorrow why bother paying for a listing.

And it turns out those became quite strong later on even though they didn't look so special in the appearance back then. Does this story sound familiar?

 

Sure it sounds familiar and very true, but how do you know because if you pay for them all, you are bound to do some eroneous submissions to QBC's which of course will turn out to be useless.

That is why this thread was started to hopefully help in getting some sites posted here to select from

Im turning into an old repeating record Unleashed General Directory (current hidden PR4, prediced PR5 next update). Before the move from the subdomain to the new root domain there were quite a few inner PR pages as well... hopefully these will improve and be maintained in the next update...

My new directory N1Q.NET -launched 2 weeks ago- is predicted to become PR4 from 0 by iWebTool. And it is still a free directory. I'm planning to buy some PR7 links from directory homepages till the next Google PR update if I can have the suitable financial situation.

 

Both optimumRank and Zippy (below) are predicted PR5 on their first update, and I'm convinced they'll both become high quality, strong directories in the course of time.

 

Skillipedia directory is the new kid on the block. Watch him taking over Yahoo +Dmoz.

 

These are two that we have been watching, and look as though they have a solid future

When a Directory is starting out there are so many variables to consider, many of which there is no stats or data on

But the owner works hard backing up & supporting these directories

So on that basis they need supporting

 

I just launched Yellow Pages Directory yesterday, this is my 2nd directory and I'm very happy with how it's turned out so far.
