New Directories - Response Rates

The site was added before your last post, and yes it was a Featured Listing. When I posted the comment for you to check again, I had just submitted the site. It was added somewhere between our earlier postings.

Agreed! Normally, I have no problems buying a featured listing or two in a new directory - I'll try do so in some of the directories where our free listings were generously accepted. While the prices charged aren't going to get the directory owners rich, I do hope that my small contribution helps with their efforts.

It's easy to tell which members are out for a fast buck or have a past track record of abandoning their directory or losing interest after just a short period of time, possibly once the initial paid listings taper off.

I find it to be a waste of time submitting free listings to those directories to begin with.

Besides the list of directories that I had the opportunity to try out ths past weekend, there are quite a few more here that are definitely worth submitting to. The list is in no way a comprehensive listing of all of the free or paid directories that offer some value, but just a sampling of directories that I found quickly added our free and paid submissions or offered a fair price for the Featured Listings. A few have been around for awhile longer than others.
