    the first one is definately better...even though i'm not fond of the slanted corners (i've just never really like that style...just my opinion though...lol)

    the second one doesn't have the 'kick' from the graphics and colors that the first one has...

    I actually prefer concept 2. Although yes, one is more advanced and does look nicer, the second one has better readability. I could stare at two much longer then staring at one.

    The second layout is better in my opinion, it looks much more comfortable, and the size of your link at the upper part is better compare to the first one, imagine you put some pic of videos in a orange layout, and blue layout, your content will be more attractive, rather than let people focus on your design. Blue gives a cool feeling.

    i like the blue..becuase i don't like orange..but the graphics are pleasing in the orange one. Perhaps lessen the intensity or something.

    Also,by making customers relax,it induces a feeling to purchase.(I know i could explain this better) ..Perhaps introduce orange elements into the blue scheme?
