Thats the thing...I mean Blurp as in it's Blurpalicious! (totally original) But yes, I was thinking like an animated or cartoonish type character. I think that it just needs to look like a silly kind of guy but looks like a cool guy at the same time...
Not bad but I am looking more for like a cartoon or colorful, happy, silly looking character with maybe a little more definition in the face. I forgot to mention that I don't need it more than like 200 x 200 or something. I only intend on placing it on headers and banners and such. I know this may be a toughy! I came up with that stupid....Blurpalicious.... and now I want to try to bring it to life....ha ha Thanks for your hard work so far! You do nice work!
Just to let you know that the illustration above is only a sketch, he would for sure be rendering it in high quality colour. I have seen previous entries from him and that is his procedure.
To seo5000: I'm sorry that I forgot to tell you that it will be rendered if you like this design,if not I'll just make a new one...although I am not sure if I can deliver it within the time specified. since it's a social netwroking site, i thought it'd be appropriate to have several mascots intead of one. as in, "here come the blurps!"
I never thought of a concept like that! It might be cool... I am going to keep this offer open for another day or two so that I can make a better decision. I will post feedback on all of the designs here shortly! Thanks a lot everyone so far!
